Luce dipinta has taken over the role of organising this and future editions of the festival and will be building on the success of the first international event which was held in August 2006, at Coldrano Castle, South Tyrol, Italy.

Photography, music, poetry, song, design, theatre and dance, all come together and create multivision to tell stories and to entertain.

Over 500 people visited the 2006 weekend event with the biggest turn-out being for the outdoor 'spettacolo' on Saturday evening, which was opened by the Folkdanz Group of Schlanders. Many of the visitors had not experienced multivision and building projections before.

This time we are expanding to incorporate two weekends and using 2 extra venues - Schlandersburg and the Kulturhaus in Silandro.

Once again we will be screening work from artists from around the world, including Australia, France, Italy, United Kingdom and USA... we are still expecting more to register their work with us.

'Painting with light' is a concept used to change the 'face' of a structure without changing the structure of the building physically. In this case Schloss Goldrain (Coldrano Castle) and Schlandersburg Castle will become a 'canvas' on which the artists "paint" their creations using the power of projections.

The Multivision Sessions using traditional slide and sound techniques are returning once more, and this year we are introducing sessions for digital multivision shows. These will be held in Schlanders (Silandro) at the Kulturhaus Karl Schönherr theatre. After each session the artists will be available for informal discussion in the relaxed atmosphere of the theatre bar. This is a great opportunity to find out how to go about creating your own multivision!
