"And an astronomer said, Master, what of Time? And he answered: You would measure time the measureless and the immeasurable. You would adjust your conduct and even direct the course of the spirit according to hours and seasons. Of time you would make a stream upon whose bank you would sit and watch its flowing..."(Kahlil Gibran)
Man has always been struggling with time. The only thing he could do so far was trying to measure it with the illusion of dominating it. Time and space are primary cultural categories through which the human being starts to build up his personal identity, frames his first experiences, adjusts his spontaneous life rhythms adapting them environmentally to social needs.
"One step from the sky" is about the relationship between time and life, through visions and symbolization connected with different meanings of time, such as a sand hourglass, grain after grain. The start of time, searching for it, its artistic interpretation, frantic life, finding ourselves, remembrance, memory, wisdom will be narrated through the music by the "Paul Klee" String Quartet from Padova (Alessandro Fagiuoli, Stefano Antonello, Andrea Amendola, Luca Paccagnella) and the multivision scenography projected on the Fortress' architectural structure is by Giorgio Cividal, Francesco Lopergolo, Roberto Tibaldi, Franco Toso, Carlo Conti, Claudio Tuti and Giuliano Mazzanti.
