Dear friends,

This wonderful quotation from Heraclitus is not here by chance. Instead it expresses perfectly the path of this, the eighth edition of Fantadia. A path which brings us to a change, as if in a game, led by time.
The experience we had in the previous edition of projecting on buildings, "Asolo and its women" (Freya Stark, Queen Cornaro and Eleonora Duse) by Alex Rowbotham, amazed the public and helped us realize something important: making multivision accessible to everyone and surprise those who have not experienced this form of artistic expression before. In this way "Fantadia: Architecture in Motion" began.
Imagining different sceneries, modifying reality into visions, involving and wrapping up, meeting and sharing, transforming Asolo into a great stage.
Fantadia reaches the square, it leaves its usual places to embrace the public in the more crowded meeting place: "the Agorà".
Dance, live music, but above all sound and image will live not only in the places always appointed to their existence, but instead they will come out from the shell and will build a "magic bond" in the most fascinating locations in Asolo. They will shape their art to the physical setting of the Square, the Fortress, the Tower.
Not only screens but walls, not only stage but pavement, not only schemes but free creativity.
This one will be the first step towards the realization of a more detailed and widespread transformation in Asolo, for a future, where every location of the town will take life and a different form and all the architectural spaces will be painted, in a virtual way, by artists offering their creativity through performances that will track a path made of sounds, images and emotions.
Fantadia is still a moment of great exchange and of improving upon multivision and it cannot miss the appointment at the magical Duse Theatre.
The theatre with its sessions will become a container of new works, realized just for Fantadia.
Moreover, for the first time in the Festival history, other visual communication techniques, very close to multivision for their expressive strength and their emotional power, will be included.
This choice comes from the awareness that Fantadia will have always to offer an innovating path which, as it happened with the start of digital six years ago, can supply each author with all the elements needed for improving, but most of all can offer the public a chance of an emotional, new and captivating discovery.

And if a lifetime is a child playing. we want to take part to this playing.
